GREEN LAKE, WI, —Town Square Community Center is hosting a Labor Day weekend Concert on the Pond featuring singer/songwriter Franki Moscato on Sunday, September 4, from 7:00 -9:00 PM on the Mill Pond Terrace. The concert for the community is free.
Before the concert, children and parents can meet Moscato on the terrace where they can learn about her musical journey and share tips on singing and life in the musical world. The event is 6:15-6:45pm and free, but registration is required. Online registration can be found at greenlaketownsquare.org.
Moscato is an Oshkosh native who sings and plays keyboard. She was a golden ticket contestant on American Idol and has performed solo concerts throughout Wisconsin. She has also performed the National Anthem at the White House and Lambeau Field.
The Mill Pond Terrace was a major project for Town Square and was made possible by many community members who donated to the project. The space has been used to host a wide variety of events such as weddings, concerts, and other private/community events. The terrace features steel, concrete, wood, and native plants, making this event space feel like a work of art.
