Sunday morning the El Paso County Sheriff's Office was advised of a gunshot victim who had been taken to Sierra/Providence Hospital at east El Paso.
The Sheriff's Office Major Crimes unit responded and began their investigation.
The Victim, 21 year old Cisqo Rodriguez, of El Paso died as a result of his gunshot wound.
The Sheriff's Office is still in the preliminary stages of the investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

A report of an aggravated assault was made at The Hospitals of Providence East Campus located at 3280 Joe Battle in reference to an injured man in his early 20s.
It's unknown if the victim was dropped off or walked in at the hospital, according to El Paso Police Department detective, Judy Oviedo,
At this time El Paso Police Department and the Sheriff Office are conducting a dual investigation.
No other information was provided.
