One person is dead after an early morning rollover crash in Kenockee Township Sunday, Aug. 7.
A driver was travelling near Duce and Beard Road shortly after 4:15 a.m. when they reportedly swerved to avoid a deer on the road, according to the St. Clair County Office of the Sheriff.
The driver then lost control of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to rollover. The driver was ejected, and later died of injures.
The St. Clair County Sheriff was assisted by local EMS and fire department personnel.
An investigation is ongoing. No further information was given about the driver or vehicle.
