PORTAGE, MI – A man was stabbed Saturday evening at a Portage motel.
A 47-year-old man called 911 to report that he was stabbed just before 5 p.m., Aug. 6, at the Airport Inn, 2333 Helen Ave., Portage police said,
The man had stab wounds to his upper torso when police arrive on scene. He was taken to a hospital and his injuries appear to be not life-threatening.
An 18-year-old man in the same motel room is allegedly the person who stabbed the older man during a domestic dispute between several people in the room, police said,
The 18-year-old man was taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
