Orono, Maine -- Senior distance runner Sam Mills captured the Maine men's division of the prestigious TD Beach to Beacon 10K road race on Saturday, Aug. 6.

Mills won the Maine division of the event with a final time of 31 minutes 9 seconds.

Mills is coming off an impressive outdoor season at UMaine which saw him set a new personal record in the in the 10,000m with a time of 30:40; the fourth fastest time in the event in UMaine history.
