More showers expected across Central Florida on Sunday

Morning showers are expected on Sunday, with rain chances increasing for inland Orlando by midday Spectrum News 13 meteorologist Chris Gilson said.

The rain chances will decrease by 5 p.m., but will increase for the golf coast.

Sunday’s high will be 93 degrees and the low will be 74 degrees with a 40% rain coverage.

High chances of rain will continue throughout the week.

The National Hurricane Center began tracking a tropical wave on Saturday. On Sunday, the tropical wave has moved off of the African west coast and has a 40% chance of tropical cyclone development in the next 5 days.
