Part of a downtown Litchfield, Ill., building collapsed Saturday. The local fire department responded and all those inside the building were accounted for, Litchfield Fire Chief Joe Holomy told the Hillsboro Journal-News.
The newspaper reported that 10 people called 9-1-1, most of them people were inside the structure. The building is located at 307 North Street.
Others assisting in the effort included the MABAS-Illinois Division 48 Technical Rescue Team and the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency.
