LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Scattered showers and storms return on Sunday with fewer storms arriving on Monday.
It has been a very active day for Flash Flood Warnings on Saturday with over a dozen active warnings in effect at one time around midday.
Activity should slow down tonight, only to return with the heating of the day on Sunday.
And while fewer storms are expected on Monday, rain chances should increase by Midweek, namely Tuesday and Wednesday.
A big pattern change should arrive later next week, Thursday night into Friday and Saturday, when the humidity drops and drier air takes hold.
