Morbius star Jared Leto and Halloween's Jamie Lee Curtis have officially boarded the Haunted Mansion reboot.
Inspired by Disney's popular theme park ride, this family-friendly tale follows Rosario Dawson's Gabbie and her young son (played by Chase Dillon) as they up sticks to New Orleans for a better life, only to discover that their stately new digs harbours paranormal activity.
Entertainment Weekly confirms Leto will voice The Hatbox Ghost (could he go full Method and sport a top hat in the recording booth?), while OneTakeNews broke Curtis's casting as the psychic Madame Leota.

Meanwhile, here's a taster of where Gabbie and her son's spooky troubles take them: "Desperate for help, they contact a priest (Owen Wilson), who, in turn, enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert (LaKeith Stanfield), a French Quarter psychic (Tiffany Haddish) and a crotchety historian (Danny DeVito)."
Talk about star power.
Let's hope The Haunted Mansion fares much better with audiences than Leto's Spider-Man spin-off Morbius did, which Digital Spy deemed a "bland and confused throwback" in our two-star review this March.

Over in the world of Curtis, she's also got that Borderlands movie awaiting release, in which she brings to life the crazed Dr Patricia Tannis opposite Jack Black's Claptrap, Cate Blanchett's Lilith and Kevin Hart's Roland.
