Benson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Oilers on Saturday, per Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic.
The deal is worth $750,000 at the NHL level. Benson logged a goal and an assist in 29 games with Edmonton last season. The 24-year-old winger will likely compete for a bottom-six role with the Oilers in training camp.
