The Alamance Burlington School System announced a new mobile app is live Aug. 5 ahead of the start of the 2022-23 academic year.
The app, which features a number of sections, will allow schools and teachers to communicate important information to the district. It is currently available in the Apple Store for iPhones and soon will be on Google Play Store.
The events section displays a list of events happening across the district and will allow app users to share with others and add it to their calendar.
Notifications can be customized for a student’s organization to receive messages and notices. The dining section will feature weekly cafeteria menus. Meals will be sorted by the day and meal type. The live feed will feature updates from the administration about what is happening within the district and information regarding deadlines and student achievements. The directory will provide contact information for staff and departments.
