Adams County authorities believe a man who is behind bars on accusations he committed sexual crimes against children and young adults may have other victims.

In July of 2022, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested Roy A. Sutton, 79, of Camp Point, for predatory criminal sexual assault and indecent solicitation of a child.

Sutton has lived in the Quincy, Camp Point, and Liberty areas.

Police believe Sutton has many more victims who have yet to be identified. They're asking anyone with information or more potential victims to contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office or Quincy Regional Crimestoppers.
