Blackbelt Substation and Extension Center in Marion Junction will host an irrigation workshop on Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.Â
In addition to learning irrigation practices those interested in attending will learn about a financial incentive program promoting sustainable irrigation expansion.Â
Topics will cover irrigation systems and practices for vegetable/horticulture crops, row crops and opportunities for cost-share funding to install irrigation infrastructure.Â
