GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — COVID-19 spread in Brown, Door, and Marinette Counties has the CDC asking people to put masks on indoors again.
Several other Northeast Wisconsin counties were listed in the “medium” category, where the CDC recommends people at high risk consider taking precautions.
Outagamie, Shawano, Calumet and Manitowoc counties were listed in the “low” category.
Meanwhile, the seven-day average of new cases fell across Wisconsin. The state Department of Health Services reported 1,879 new cases on Thursday. The seven-day average fell to 1,672, its lowest level since July 20.
No new deaths were reported on Thursday, keeping the seven-day average at two.
Since the pandemic began, Wisconsin has reported nearly 1.6 million cases and 13,238 deaths.
