Police find 9 pounds of marijuana during traffic stop in Tom Green County

TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas —
The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop yesterday that led to the discovery of 9 pounds of marijuana.

According to a press release, Camron Dairshawn Meyers was pulled over on US Highway 87 after traveling 81mph in a 60mph construction zone with workers present.
It was learned that Meyers was wanted out of Ector County, Texas, and he was placed under arrest. Further investigation led to officials seizing 9 pounds of marijuana and $1,400.00. Meyers has been charged with Possession of Marijuana <>>5lbs=400G and for failing to Appear on Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance PG 3/4 <>>=400G.
