Popular Lufkin Bakeshop Opening Brand New Location In Nacogdoches, Texas

We have a sneak peek of the newest bakery in Nacogdoches. The Grandough Baking Company staff have been spending their summer vacation working to open a new location.

Grandough Bakery's only location, as of right now, is at 1705 Feagin Drive in Lufkin. Currently they are closed until Monday, August 8th for Summer Vacation.

I suspect that vacation is being spent putting in some work on the new Nacogdoches bakery. The opening date of the Nacogdoches location has not been officially announced. It could happen any day by the looks of the progress on the new facility.

Where Will The New Grandough Bakery Be In Nacogdoches, Texas

The new Grandough Bakery location at 721 North University Drive across from ABC Auto Parts has been many things in past lives. Most recently it was Pupuseria El Pampero, a Salvadorian restaurant, that closed in the summer of 2020.

Chef Eddie left there and joined forces with Be Blessed BBQ in Nacogdoches to start Be Blessed Tacos and Pupusas. You can usually find them parked by Atwoods on North Street these days.

Now the building is getting a complete facelift from Real Graphics on the outside and has a new look on the inside to match. The Grandough Bakery concept will be slightly different at their new location.

Many People In Nacogdoches Were Driving To This Bakery In Lufkin. Texas

Grandough Bakery already knew they would have some success in Nacogdoches. The number of people coming to Lufkin from the oldest town in Texas to get their baked goods was a good indication of how things would go.

Items will not be cooked at the Nacogdoches location. Custom cake orders will still need to be ordered through the Lufkin location, but soon you will be able to pick up the orders in Nacogdoches.
