The  sea breeze will develop in the afternoon, but will stay near the coast. 

The east coast sea breeze will move from the Atlantic Coast west to our side of the state.

Storms will develop along the sea breezes and will move west.  Storms will move into the Gulf in the evening.

Since the morning will have more sun and storms hold off until later, afternoon temperatures will climb into the mid 90s.  

The sea breeze will stay near the coast, so don’t expect that to help lower the temperatures.

Polk County Schools Superintendent Fred Heid said the district will start conducting random searches of students for weapons or other dangerous items.

Scientists at Yale University were able to revive cells in pigs a full hour after their deaths, groundbreaking research that could potentially extend human lives but also raises ethical questions.

An hour after stopping the hearts of anesthetized pigs, the researchers restored blood circulation and other cellular functions by pumping a cell-protective fluid to organs and tissues using a device similar to a heart-lung machine.
