Francis Marion School will be welcoming a new Business Education and Computer Science teacher, Cassandra Williams Allen, this year.
“I am super excited to start this new journey of being a Francis Marion Ram,” Allen said in a social media posting addressed to future students of the school.
A Greensboro native, Allen is a graduate of Sunshine High School. She is also a member of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
This will be Allen’s first year at Francis Marion in a career that spans eight years. Allen has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, as well as a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
In her spare time, Allen enjoys reading, completing puzzles, and spending time with friends and family.
“I enjoy working with young scholars and helping them succeed in all areas,” added to her introduction, concluding, “I strive to create a community of young scholars that nurtures this growth in a positive and fun environment.”
