DANNEBROG, Neb. (KSNB) - The legion baseball co-op of Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus is set to lose three seniors from its Class C State Runner-Up roster from this past season.

Bryce and Kolby Gorecki, along with Tanner Simdorn, are all graduating from high school baseball after helping lead DCB to three State Championship appearances and two titles in three years.

“It’s tough to lose those three,” DCB coach Joe Noakes said. “They’re prime players for us, big time players for us, so it’s tough to see them go. They’re good players, good kids. Work ethic is crazy. It’s just going to be tough not having them on my roster.”

DCB lost 11-3 to Malcolm in the Class C State Championship Wednesday.
