THE COUNTDOWN TO THE START OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS ON...BUT FIRST COMES FALL CAMP. THE HOGS WILL HIT THE PRACTICE FIELD TOMORROW EVENING FOR DAY ONE OF CAMP. NOW COMING INTO THIS SEASON A BIG FOCAL POINT FOR ARKANSAS HEAD COACH SAM PITTMAN HAS BEEN THE SIZE AND SPEED OF HIS PLAYERS... WHETHER IT COMES FROM RECRUITING OR DEVELOPING GUYS ON THE ROSTER. WHILE PITTMAN SAYS HE LIKES THE LOOK OF HIS TEAM AHEAD OF CAMP... THEY'LL CONTINUE TO WORK ON BOTH SIZE AND SPEED THROUGHOUT THE OFF- SEASON... AS THE RAZORBACKS PREPARE TO PLAY ONE OF THE TOUGHEST SCHEDULES IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL. (We're a bigger and a faster team. The countdown to the start of college football is on, but first comes fall camp.The Hogs will hit the practice field Friday evening for day one of camp.A big focal point for Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman coming into this season has been the size and speed of his players, whether it comes from recruiting or developing guys on the roster. While Pittman said he likes the look of his team ahead of camp, they will continue to work on both aspects throughout the off-season as the Razorbacks prepare to play one of the toughest schedules in college football.“We're a bigger and a faster team,” Pittman said. “I think recruiting and the guys we've brought in, we're starting to recruit bigger and stronger and faster guys when they walk in the door. We look like an SEC football team, in my opinion, now.”The Razorbacks open the 2022 season Sept. 3 with Cincinnati.
