DELPHOS, OH (WLIO) - A Delphos company is reinvesting millions of dollars into the region for the expansion and growth of their facility.
Lakeview Farms is investing 24 to 30 million dollars to expand their commercial food processing plant and add warehouse space. An increase of up to 180,000 square feet of new space. Thursday, Allen County commissioners approved a 10-year, 90% tax abatement for the company's new investment in the expansion.
"We're full and we need to plan for our future growth," said Todd Parker, senior vice president/PMO of Lakeview Farms. "So as our products are growing in the marketplace we need to have a place to make them, store them, and ship them."
Parker says they will be joining two existing structures together and moving Gressler Drive to allow the addition to the facility, which is currently 320 thousand square feet and the expansion will increase it by 25%.
