MALDEN, Mass. — A wildly popular restaurant known for its steak tips, ribs, and hearty Italian dishes is opening a new location in Massachusetts.
Tommy Floramo’s, a staple of the Chelsea restaurant scene since 1984, is expanding to Malden.
In an Instagram post, Malden Mayor Gary Christenson wrote,” The only thing that could be better is if they bring the iconic sign with them when they open their new location in the City of Malden.”
The Dockside in Wakefield recently began transitioning to Floramo’s Wakefield. The Dockside’s Malden location also closed its doors back in March.
It’s not clear when Floramo’s of Malden will begin serving up food, but in a social media post, the restaurant said it was “coming soon.”
