The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office detectives and deputies are on the scene of an "incident" in Menominee Township. Authorities didn't go into detail about the incident, only asking the public to avoid the area.
A portion of 18th Avenue is closed from 25th Street to West Drive.
Menominee City Police, Michigan State Police, Marinette County Sheriff's Office, and Marinette Police are on scene assisting, the sheriff's office said.
