Bibi's second baby is already taking the national media by storm.

On Thursday, hosts of NBC's "Today" celebrated the arrival of Fiona's younger sibling, who was born at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden Wednesday night.

The morning show's co-hosts joked that Bibi, a 23-year-old hippo, is a "cougar," as her mate, Tucker, is 19.

"Today" anchor and weatherman Al Roker also joked that Bibi should have gotten an IUD, a form of contraceptive, since the hippo birth control she was on was ineffective.

Hippo keepers at the zoo have not revealed the name or gender of the newest addition to Hippo Cove, but did say Bibi gave birth to a healthy, full-term calf.

The newborn weighs at least twice as much as Fiona did when she was born, director of animal care Christina Gorsuch said in a release. The now-5-year-old Fiona was born six weeks prematurely in 2017 and weighed just 29 pounds.

Bibi and her baby will spend the next two weeks bonding and won't be visible to the public. However, the zoo said it plans to share any photos and videos they can get without disturbing the mother and calf.
