The Ravens were back on the field for their third training camp practice this week, the second day in full pads. Meaning the intensity and contact was up, so were the temperatures. The Ravens practiced for two and a half hours in 90 degree heat and full sun. It showed. During the last 15 minutes of practice today, I watched five different players exit with cramping symptoms.
One player left even sooner; first round draft pick Kyle Hamilton. The safety came up lame after one play and contact. We are unsure if this was an injury exit, something else, or nothing at all. John Harbaugh did not speak today after practice, he goes tomorrow. Meaning his coordinators will not speak to injuries after practices.
Defensive lineman Calais Campbell missed practice today, most likely a veteran off day. Wide receiver Devin Duvernay and defensive back Brandon Stephens missed as well, both for consecutive practices now.
