HARRISON (WLUK) -- Storm cleanup is now underway for some in the Fox Valley.
Several buildings in Calumet County were damaged after early morning storms hit the area.
Harrison resident Julie Daily had a tree fall on top of her house.
"It was like the house shook," said Daily, "and I came to the window, and this had fallen. Saw a lot of damage. It was incredible how fast those go through."
She heard the sound of high speed winds while watching the morning news. Daily said, at first, she didn't know what to expect.
"We could hear like glass, and I actually started crying because I was so shocked when I saw it come by the window," she said, "and I just couldn't believe it."
Many Harrison residents lost power at around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
A lot of trees are down, and they expect it will take days or even weeks to clean it all up.

Donald Straus is another homeowner who had trees down on his property.
"So, now we get to clean all this up, which... is going to be a lot of fun," he said.
Straus said the trees that went down were there for years.
"I've got a lot of work to do," he said. "Yeah, it was amazing. And a lot of beautiful trees went down that, you know, you can't replace them."
Straus' home wasn't damaged, but he said the town won't assist because it's all in his yard.
"They won't do it," he said. "Insurance won't pay for it, unless it's on a building -- or damaged -- but, otherwise, all of this I have to do myself."
Daily knows she's not the only one in the area with damage to her home. She hopes it's back to normal soon.
"So, hopefully... hopefully sooner than later, and the rain will hold off," she said.
Daily says what's most important is that she and her family are safe.
"We're glad no one was hurt, and they always say that's the biggest thing obviously," she said.
