EastEnders spoilers follow.
Bobby Beale will get bad news from Kathy in new EastEnders scenes.
It has been a rough few weeks for the Beales, with Bobby's older brother Peter having recently fled Walford after a hurtful confrontation with the rest of the family.
On top of this trauma, Bobby's gran Kathy has been at son Ben Mitchell's hospital bedside this week after his shock collapse fr0m taking drugs.
The hard times continue in upcoming EastEnders scenes as Kathy confides in grandson Bobby that she will have to sell Walford East – which will be life-changing for the family.
Not only is the restaurant one of the Beales' primary sources of income, it is also where Bobby has been working since he came back to Walford a few years ago.
Bobby turns to former girlfriend Dana for support in the Vic, and they ultimately agree to meet for a drink the following day.
The teen confides in Rocky Cant about his plans to meet up with Dana, so Rocky decides to meddle in the former couple's business.
Rocky tries to convince both Bobby and Dana, separately, that what they really want is to get back together properly. The stakes are high as Bobby and Dana meet up for their drink.
Will the former couple decide to give it another go?
Viewers may know that Barbara Smith is due to depart her role as Dana later in the year, so it's unlikely there is a long-term future for the couple in Walford.
Talking about her impending exit from EastEnders, Smith recently told Digital Spy: "I feel that Dana is definitely getting the send-off that she deserves. I think it's about time for her to spread her wings."
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One, with some episodes airing on BBC Two during summer sporting events. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
