PRESCOTT – On a muggy Tuesday evening, the Nevada County Fairgrounds saw a crowd gathered for National Night Out.

Vendors selling cold drinks were popular as the humidity made it feel hotter than it actually was. However, this didn’t stop youngsters from having a good time in the two bounce houses , nor did it deter the adults from checking out the vendors in the Potlatch Building where they could peruse a wide variety of items, ranging from cutlery to information on domestic violence prevention. There was also a vendor offering ice cream to help beat the heat.

The Prescott Police Department, Nevada County Sheriff’s Office and Prescott Fire Department were on hand for the event.
