Police departments across Kentucky donate their own vehicles to flooded areas
Some police departments around Kentucky are donating police vehicle to help departments struggling from flooding.
The Jeffersontown Police Department is one of them.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the Jeffersontown police announced they would be donating the two vehicles to the Whitesburg Police Department located in Letcher County.
Some agencies in eastern Kentucky lost emergency vehicles during the flooding, making it harder for them to assist in rescue operations.

Jeffersontown police said they wanted to donate the vehicles in an effort to help the community rebuild.
The Nelson County Sheriff's Office also announced that they will be donating two police vehicles to the Letcher County Sheriff's Office.
The department will be donating the vehicles in collaboration with the Jailer and Nelson County Fiscal Court.
