According to our affiliate WSB-TV, Governor Brian Kemp is expected to extend the suspension of the state’s gas tax for another month.

The current extension was set to expire on Aug. 13.
The tax suspension saves Georgians about 30 cents per gallon for gas and 33 cents per gallon for diesel.
Prices on gas have been slowly going down over the last few weeks.
AAA says the current average for gas across Georgia is $3.74 a gallon versus the national average of $4.18 a gallon.
A month ago, the average price of gas across the state was $4.33.
