Elaine Brown

Elaine Edith Brown, 86, of Richfield, passed away July 24, 2022, of cancer after being diagnosed at an advanced stage. 

Elaine was born to Ira and Theresa (Degner) Brown in Aldrich. She grew up in Staples where she graduated from high school in 1954.

She worked in the grain division of Cargill for 42 years. After retirement, she loved spending time in her garden and traveling, having visited over 40 countries.  She was especially proud of the fact that she had also visited all seven continents.

Elaine is survived by her sister, Jana Brown and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother, Eugene and sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Richard Beranek.

A private family service will be held.
