The Bradley County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting on Sunday, July 31 around 11:00 a.m. in the area of Buchanan Road.
When officers arrived, they found nobody until they received a call coming from a man who said he and his child had been shot at the Walmart Supercenter off Treasury Drive.
Prior to the shooting, officials say the father and child left their home but were blocked in their vehicle by two men in a separate vehicle.
At least one of the men began firing at the father and son. Deputies say father sped away, turned into the Walmart and called police.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators determined the victim knew the suspects through a previous dispute.
The suspects, now identified as Roddarrian Smith and Serzio Raines were located and arrested by Bradley County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic stop.
Both suspects are charged with two counts of aggravated assault and tampering with evidence. Smith has an additional charge of felony reckless endangerment. Raines is also charged with a traffic violation and evading arrest.
