A 43-year-old man was arrested by Special Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force for possession of child pornography.
The OSBI ICAC investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received information from DropBox that a used, later identified as John Mack Byrd, had uploaded suspected child pornography.
The OSBI ICAC was able to trace the DropBox account back to Byrd, later arresting him.
Byrd is currently in the Lincoln County Jail facing charges of Possession of Child Pornography and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
If you suspect a child is being sexually abused or exploited, contact the OSBI of NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST or on their website.
