Pulaski County, Starke County Arts Organizations Awarded Grant Funding

Arts organizations based in Pulaski County and Starke County recently received grant funds through the Arts Project Support grant programs.

The Indiana Arts Commission awarded 413 nonprofit organizations in the state grant funds from the $2.9 million available for distribution.

Arts Project Support grants provide funding to Indiana 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and public entities for a specific arts project or arts activities. Some examples of eligible projects include a one-time art event, a single performance, an exhibition, an educational workshop, or series of related arts activities such as art classes or training sessions that are open to the public whether free or for a fee.

The Pulaski County Tribe is the recipient of $3,500 Arts Project Support grant for a Welcome to Monterey project.  Arts Project Support grants of $3,900 were awarded to the Starke County Youth Club for after school art programs and performances, and to the Constellation of Starke Creatives Network for the Starke County Mural Series Bass Lake project.
