A Sheboygan woman has been charged with OWI after a fiery rollover crash outside of New Holstein Monday morning (July 25th).
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office was informed of the crash in a field off of County Highway A north of Foundry Road at around 2:30 Monday morning.
They arrived to find a vehicle rolled over and on fire with a 44-year-old man still trapped inside.
The man was quickly rescued by police, fire, and EMS personnel, and was treated at the scene before being flown to Theda Clark Medical Center.
He is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
The unnamed 33-year-old female driver of the vehicle was arrested for Causing Injury While Operating Under the Influence.
It is not clear if she was injured in the incident.
