Food Network star Alton Brown is bringing his show to Utica: Here's how to get tickets

Food Network and Netflix host and chef Alton Brown will be bring his holiday tour to Utica this year, and tickets will go on sale Friday.

Brown will bring his Beyond the Eats – The Holiday Variant tour to the Stanley Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 22. The production has been described as a "culinary variety show" that mixes together science, music, food and audience participation into two hours of entertainment.

Brown has been on Food Network for 20 years and is known for hosting the shows "Good Eats," and "Cutthroat Kitchen" and for serving as the culinary commentator on "Iron Chef America." Currently, he co-hosts "Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend," a new version of Iron Chef America, on Netflix.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on July 29 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster, or by calling The Stanley Theatre Box Office at 315-724-4000. Tickets start at $43.50.
