What’s your favorite ballpark to play in and why?

San Diego, I love that stadium. I love stadiums that are really close to the ocean and it’s a beautiful city all around.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Since I was young I was in baseball, so I always imagined myself as a professional baseball player.

If an ice cream truck pulled up right now, what would your order be?

Chocolate ice cream.

What player or coach do you think would win an arm-wrestling contest?

Fredi González.

If you could trade places with one person for a day, who would it be?

Elon Musk.

What is your favorite way to spend an off-day?

In the offseason, I love to go fishing. It’s my favorite hobby.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?

I’ll never sing karaoke. I’m really bad.

Which teammate do you think was the biggest troublemaker in school?

Félix Bautista.

If you weren’t playing professional baseball, what would you be doing?

It’s really hard because I always knew I wanted to play baseball, so I don’t know what to tell you.

What is your favorite animal and why?

A shark. I love the ocean and love how aggressive sharks can be.

If you could see any singer in concert, who would it be?

Daddy Yankee.

If you have the aux in the clubhouse, what song are you playing?

To be honest I like English music as much as Spanish. I love whatever mix they have going on, English and Spanish alike.

Who do you look up to the most?

My dad. He played a huge role in getting our family to where we are today and he’s been a huge role model in my life.

Who is your coolest Instagram follower?

My sister.

What was your favorite breakfast cereal when you were a kid?

In Cuba we didn’t have cereal.

Do you have a favorite cereal now?

Now I don’t really eat cereal. I just drink milk if anything.

What was your first car?

It’s the same car I have to this day, a BMW X6.

If you could play any position other than your own, what would you play?

Center field.

Who’s the greatest athlete of all-time?

Kobe Bryant.
