Highly-touted prospects will not accept a salary, preserve NCAA eligibility.

Overtime Elite announced Monday that high school basketball standouts Kanaan Carlyle and Trey Parker have signed on to join the league in advance of its second season. In addition, Travis Branham of 247Sports reports that Jahki Howard and Bryson Tiller are also expected to make the jump to OTE.

According to the press release, every contracted OTE player is offered a six-figure salary, with a guaranteed minimum salary of at least $100,000 per year, plus bonuses and shares of equity in Overtime. Starting this season, players have the option to choose a scholarship or salary option.

Carlyle played last season at Milton (Ga.), averaging 18 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists to help the Eagles (22-8) reach the AAAAAAA quarterfinals. Committed to Stanford and regarded as a five-star prospect by 247Sports, the 6-foot-4 combo guard earned MaxPreps Junior All-America honorable mention honors following the 2021-22 season.

"When I think about the dedication and investment it takes to be an elite player, I think of Kanaan Carlyle," OTE Vice President of Recruiting and Player Personnel Tim Fuller said. "He has a warrior mentality on both sides of the ball - he won't be outworked on any possession. He's received much-deserved recognition for being a terrific playmaker, adding a level of intensity and ball-handling to our league."

Parker, also a senior, comes to OTE via Vertical Academy in North Carolina, where he played two games against Overtime Elite last season, tallying a game-high 24 points in the second.

"I've spent my career working with the top athletes around the world, and Trey's natural explosiveness continues to blow me away," Fuller said. "We're excited to see the results of putting a professional basketball development program around him because the sky's the limit."

Howard, a top 30 prospect in the Class of 2024 according to 247Sports, played as a freshman at Norcross (Ga.) and last year at Kanye West's Donda Academy.

A member of the Class of 2025, Tiller averaged 12.2 points and 7.7 rebounds per game as a freshman at Pace Academy (Atlanta). The 6-foot-8 forward already has seven offers according to 247Sports, including Auburn, Georgia Tech and Indiana.

The No. 1 player in the Class of 2024 Naasir Cunningham previously committed to OTE, joining holdovers from last year like Amen and Ausar Thompson, Jazian Gortman and French big man Alexandre Sarr.
