Cimarron County Accident Injures Two from Texas

A personal injury accident occurred Saturday afternoon July 23rd at approximately 12:00 noon on EW31 and NS 13, approximately 1/2 mile east of Felt, Oklahoma in Cimarron County.

A 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Kassidy Dawn Rosas, age 35 of Vega, Tx. was southbound on N/S 13, while a 2021 Ford F-350 driven by Coy Whitney,age 46, of Clayton, NM. was westbound on EW 31. The stop sign for the southbound traffic was laying in the bar ditch. The Rosas vehicle entered the intersection and was struck by Ford. The Jeep departed the roadway right, and the Ford departed the roadway left where they came to rest. Rosas was transported to Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart, Texas by Boise City EMS, then later taken to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Tx by Boise City EMS. She was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries. Whitney was treated and released on scene.

Name withheld, 4 year old juvenile female of Vega, Tx., was transported to Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart, Texas by Boise City EMS, then later taken to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Tx by Life Star. She was admitted in stable condition with a leg injury.
