Simone Biles Shares Loving Birthday Tribute and Anniversary Post with Fiancé Jonathan Owens on Instagram

Simone Biles doesn't need an excuse to post a romantic photo with her fiancé, Jonathan Owens. The 25-year-old gymnast loves to share snaps of herself and her beau on Instagram, whether the two of them are embarking on an beachy vacation or merely matching their outfits. However, Owens just celebrated his 27th birthday, so of course, Biles didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the special occasion.

“Happy birthday Jonathan,” the Olympic athlete wrote, along with a snap of her and Owens looking lovingly at each other. “Loving you is so easy. I’m so blessed to have you in my life! Can’t wait to make memories together as we grow!”

The photo appears to have been taken from the spring of 2021, which we can assume because Biles shared a pic in April of last year where she and Owens were seen wearing the exact same outfits. Biles captioned that post, “Found my forever.”

However, the gymnast apparently had more to celebrate than just Owens's birthday, because it turns out the two were also marking their 2-year anniversary. It was at the end of her caption that Biles said, “Happy 2 years baby!! Can’t wait to marry you. It’s us against the world remember that!”

According to Texas Monthly, Biles and Owens first met online in March of 2020 (and the football safety apparently had no idea who Biles was when they first connected). After hitting it off, Owens ended up popping the question in February of this year, which Biles announced on Instagram, saying, “THE EASIEST YES. I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! Let’s get married FIANCÉ.”
