BRANSON, Mo.- According to officials, recovery has been made for a missing swimmer on Sunday, July 24.
On Saturday a call was made to Stone County dispatch around 4:00 PM in regards to a man at Table Rock Lake who has reportedly been underwater for an extended period of time.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Western Taney County divers searched for the man around Rest Haven Resort.
Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the swimmer as Eugene Nelson, 79, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the 8th drowning of MSHP Troop D this year.
