James Richard “Ricky” Flood, Sr., age 67 of Radcliff, KY passed away July 20, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on September 8, 1954, son of the late Harold and Mary Agnes Kannapel Flood. Ricky retired from Metalsa where he was a Quality Coordinator and was currently working part time at Rural King. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, watching westerns and UK basketball and football. Ricky was a quiet and polite man and always had a smile on his face.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Gerald and Vincent Flood.

4 sons – Ricky Flood, Jr. and Timothy (Shana) Flood of Radcliff, KY; Benjamin Dale (Trisha) Flood of Elizabethtown, KY and Dwayne (Shannon) Flood of Mount Washington, KY.
11 grandchildren – Gavin, Christopher, Nicholas, Dylan, Luke, Abigail, Elijah, Gabrial, Alexandra, Austin and Alexis Flood
1 great granddaughter – Aubree Smith
4 brothers – Donnie (Janet) Flood, Tony (Kathy) Flood and Joe (Katie) Flood of Hardinsburg, KY; Philip (Charlene) Flood of Stephensport, KY
3 sisters – Rosemary (Johnny) Neff of Lewisport, KY; Sharon (CL) Hughes and Brenda (Dwight) Wheatley of Hardinsburg, KY

A memorial service will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM. All times are central.
