It was a busy Thursday for boil orders to be issued in the area. A total of seven were issued across three counties, all for main breaks.

In Izard County, a boil order was issued for the entire Guion Water Department.

A boil order was issued for the West Stone County Water Association for parts of Stone and Searcy counties for the area from Cedar Hills Drive west to State Highway 66 Loop and north to State Highway 263.

The other five orders were issued in Stone County. Included in the boil orders are Mountain View Waterworks, Pleasant Grove, Fifty Six Waterworks, Sylamore Valley Water Association and Richwoods Water Association.

All affected customers of current boil orders are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
