Football, volleyball, track & cross-country, even golf. Pamlico County High School students are playing these and several other sports this year. And they’re being played in the summer heat and humidity.

PCHS Booster Club President Amanda Sawyer is sponsoring the first Water & Gatorade Drive to help keep student athletes hydrated during practice. They need enough gatorade and water for about 100 students in 11 different sports.

Help out the kids by dropping off a case of water or small individual gatorade bottles Thursday night, Jul 21 at the PCHS gym, from 6-8p. The gym is at 601 Main Street in Bayboro.
