– On the To Be the Man Podcast, Ric Flair spoke to Conrad Thompson on his upcoming Last Match event. As noted, Flair will team with his son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo, against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett. During the podcast, Flair stated that Charlotte Flair may now get involved and target Jeff Jarrett for his insulting comments directed at Charlotte’s real-life husband, Andrade. Jarrett had referred to Andrade as a “certain-jerker” on his own podcast. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):

Flair on if Jarrett’s comments on Andrade being a “curtain-jerker” get under his skin: “That doesn’t get under my skin, but man, has Andrade heard that line yet? When will he hear that? He’ll hear it today, and this will not only be Ric Flair’s last match, this will be Jeff Jarrett’s last match.” Flair laughed, considering the trouble Jarrett may have gotten himself into by disrespecting El Idolo. He needs to go spend a week in Durango, see where that kid grew up in the streets of. Holy sh*t. I love that. I’m gonna call Andrade ASAP.”

Ric Flair on how Charlotte might get involved after Jeff Jarrett insulted Andrade: “Can I tell you something right now? And I’m saying this from my heart, and you know her very well. Jeff, if she sees him behind the curtain, may get the sh*t beat out of him by Ashley before he ever gets to the f*cking ring. She stands by her man. Good lord, I wouldn’t want her coming at me 100 miles an hour. That was not a smart comment, especially to her husband. If she wasn’t coming, I know she’s there now. Both him and Karen [Jarrett], they both better walk around her on glass.”

Charlotte and Andrade were married earlier in May. Ric Flair’s Last Match event is scheduled for July 31 in Nashville, Tennessee. Charlotte Flair is reportedly expected to attend the event.
