Love Island host Laura Whitmore has exited her BBC Radio 5 Live gig, The Laura Whitmore Show, after four years on air.
Whitmore decided to leave the Sunday morning show following her success on Love Island, which she's been presenting ever since the first winter series aired in 2020.
Heidi Dawson, controller of BBC Radio 5 Live, confirmed the news, saying (via The Sun): "Laura has made the difficult decision to leave after a brilliant four years. We'd like to thank her for the energy, insight and humour she has brought to this programme and look forward to working with her again in the near future."

Whitmore recently addressed some of the negative comments she's received over her hosting job.
One such comment suggested Whitmore had "the easiest job on the telly" for what she reportedly gets paid, to which she highlighted the double standards compared to her husband and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling.
"Firstly, Iain has never had attention on money he earns," she noted. "Why don't we like women earning money? I bloody wish I earned what was written in the press! I only get paid days I work."

She also hit back at the "exhausting" suggestions that she should be fired, noting they happen "every year".
One comment claimed: "She's so boring. Why doesn't she ask more? What's with all the pauses!?" Whitmore replied: "DRAMA baby! If I was on hosting duties I would be having full on banter.
"But I can't. I need to stay as impartial as possible and trust the process. Last year with social distancing I couldn't even give them a hug! And I am a hugger."
Love Island airs on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITV Hub and Britbox.
