Fear the Walking Dead’s Kim Dickens and The Walking Dead’s Noah Emmerich will star in a new Netflix original movie, The Good Nurse. Dickens made a return to Fear TWD in the season 7 finale. Emmerich, who hasn’t been seen on TWD since season 1 and in the post-credit clip of World Beyond, has recently starred in the first season of AMC’s Dark Winds.

The Good Nurse is directed by Tobias Lindholm and written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns, and based on the novel by Charles Graeber titled The Good Nurse: A True Story of Medicine, Madness, and Murder. The story follows Charles Cullen, a serial killer who may have been responsible for over 40 deaths during 1988-2003.

Cullen is currently in jail, serving 18 life sentences for the murders that authorities have been able to charge and convict him. He worked as a nurse for 16 years and, during that time, abused his position and was eventually arrested for one murder and one attempted murder of patients at the hospital he worked in. This led to the discovery of at least 40 more murders.

The film, rumored to be released sometime this fall, also stars Eddie Redmayne as Charles Cullen, Jennifer Chastain, Nnamdi Asomugha and Ajay Naidu.

Noah Emmerich did an outstanding job in season 1 of Dark Winds, and the series has been renewed for a second season. It has yet to be announced if he will star in the series next season. Other recent projects you can find him include Suspicion and Space Force.
