Bradley and Cleveland County both under burn bans

Multiple days of temperatures over 100, a heat index expected to rise to near 110 across South Arkansas over the next several days, and only a small chance of rain coming Thursday, Bradley and Cleveland Counties have both issued burn bans as of today, July 19, 2022.

As of Tuesday morning, most of the State of Arkansas, including Bradley, Cleveland, Drew, and Calhoun Counties are all under an excessive heat warning starting at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon. That means dangerously hot conditions are forecast with heat index values in excess of 110 degrees.

All but eleven Arkansas counties are currently under burn bans.
