Joe Mullins

    Memorial service for Joe Mullins, 92, of Lamesa will be held Friday, July 22nd, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Tobey Clements officiating.
    Arrangements are under the care  of Branon Funeral Home.
    Joe passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, in Lamesa, Texas.  
    He was born May 2, 1930, in Dawson County to Ralph Roland Mullins and Bertha Darden (Fambro) Mullins. Joe served in the United States Army.  He then married Wanda Snyder on August 19, 1955, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  They were married 66 years.  
    Joe farmed most of his life and was a member of Second Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, a good cup of coffee and making peanut brittle for the holidays.
    Joe is survived by his wife, Wanda Mullins of Lamesa; children, Jay Mullins of Snyder and Cydne Mooney and husband, David of Amarillo; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Mayfield of Georgetown; and brother, Roland Mullins of San Angelo. 
    Joe is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ruth Lance. 
    In lieu of flowers send memorials to Second Baptist Church 1705 N. Bryan, Lamesa, TX 79331.
