On Tuesday afternoon, the Covington Police Department released a video showing a  semitractor-trailer flipped over on Interstate 75 following a crash.

Police are asking for the public's help to identify the car involved in the crash.

According to officials, on Saturday, a Dodge Charger collided with the semi on southbound I-75, near the Brent Spence Bridge.

Investigators said the truck lost control and flipped on its side, blocking the interstate.

The driver of the truck sustained injuries in the crash, police said.

The interstate was closed for several hours. Officials said the truck was carrying about 8,000 to 8,500 gallons, and an estimated 500 gallons leaked on the interstate and city streets. Clean-up crews were at the scene overnight Sunday to clear the spill.

Police are now searching for a  2011 or newer Dodge Charger that is possibly dark blue with tinted windows.

The car has passenger-side damage and may also have front-end damage.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the Traffic Unit at (859)292-2254.
